A risk team asked for IFRS examples from their own loan book. We rewrote three modules in ten working days—without pushing the delivery date.
When an international tier-1 bank approached us for a comprehensive finance workshop for their risk analysts, they had one non-negotiable requirement: the case studies had to be modeled on their actual loan books.
The Challenge Generic IFRS examples do not adequately prepare analysts for the specific nuances of commercial lending portfolios. Our instructional design team faced the challenge of parsing sanitized institutional data and completely rewriting three integral modules of the standard syllabus.
The Result Working closely with the client's internal compliance officers, our team achieved the rewrite in just ten working days. The delivery date remained unaffected, but the impact of the training multiplied exponentially. The risk officers reported immediate applicability of the frameworks taught, drastically reducing error rates in their subsequent quarterly reporting.
